Meet Lucky. Lucky is a mixed Husky and Lab. Yes, that IS one blue eye and one brown eye you see. He IS adorable.

Lucky was rescued from the SPCA so his age is a guesstimate, but the vet figures he's about a year and a half. He is in tip top physical condition (all up-to-date on vaccinations and vet checkups).

Lucky came to live with us and our other dog who is older. Unfortunately, our older dog is less playful (calmer) and does not enjoy Lucky's level of play (constant! :). This causes lots of arbitrating- like having kids that "don't play well".

Lucky is super gentle - especially with kids (we have a two year old son). He is VERY affectionate and wishes he was smaller, so he could be in your lap as much as possible! He is also a FANTASTIC walker- stays right next to you and is great company.

So what's the catch? Here it is: we are looking for the IDEAL family or owner for lucky. Here's who we see adopting lucky:

You
*have time to spend cuddling and petting him;
*love taking him for daily walks and being outside with him ;
*have space because he's an 80lb dog and needs some room to stretch and run; and
*have the time and enthusiasm to continue his training with a gentle hand as he responds best to firm kindness.

Lucky is house trained, sweet and has a zest for life. He would make a great addition to a family, or as a companion for someone looking to liven up their home.
