Automotive Service Advisor

Exceptional Opportunity: Coastal Ford Vancouver requires a results oriented Service Advisor to join our quality team. This is a full time, union position located in Vancouver, BC. A lower appointed position of Service Advisor II may be considered in the event there are no qualified candidates that meet the position requirements. Principal Duties: * Manages customer requests for maintenance and repairs; * Provides excellent customer service; * Writes repair orders; * Communicates with customers about the status of work; * Collects payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments; * Sells additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate. Position Requirements (minimum experience): * Previous experience in automotive service environment preferred; * General knowledge of parts and basic automotive repair procedures preferred; * Valid class 5 driver's license required; * Intermediate computer skills required; * Excellent phone manner required; * High School Diploma or equivalent required.
