Early Childhood Educator (E.C.E.)

One Two Buckle My Shoe Childcare Inc. Early Childhood Educator (E.C.E.) Job Opening in Surrey The position we are offering is that of Early Childhood Educator at a wage of $20.00 per hour ($2 from gov wage enhancement program included) with 40 hours (minimum 30 hours per week) full-time per week. With the benefit of Vacation Pay: 4 per cent of earning and medical & dental plan available on a 50/50 payment plan. The overtime will be paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. This is a permanent position. Working location: 5660 192 St, Surrey, BC, V3S 2V7, Canada Qualifications: - ECE License to Practice in BC is required. ECE Infant and Toddler License to Practice in BC is an asset. - Completion of College/ CEGEP or vocational is required. - Current First Aid certificate, doctor's note and Criminal Record Check are needed. - Minimum 7 months or more of work experience in child care field is preferred. Duties: - Plan and develop appropriate programs and activities based on observation of individual children. - Maintain and update individual record of children as taking notes of their activities at the daycare centre. - Design and develop learning programs to meet children's physical, intellectual, social, cultural and emotional needs. - Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their children's in development and learning progress. - Develop listening, comprehension and motor skills using approved subjects in storytelling, role playing, games, music and creative art activities. - Supervise both indoor and outdoor play times including community trips. - Release children only to those authorized by parents/ guardian, to ask for identification in order to ensure that the authorized pick-up has been verified.
