Actuonix is a small but growing tech company located in beautiful Victoria BC. Our business focuses on automation on a micro scale and our markets are worldwide. We are looking to hire a full time person to be dedicated to marketing our business and products through all possible mediums to help fuel our future growth. The successful candidate will have a very solid understanding and hands on experience with SEO for websites, blogs and online shopping platforms. Other skills that would be beneficial include running Google Ad-words campaigns, social media marketing, integration with Amazon, online video production, visual ad creation, picture manipulation, blog creation and maintenance, print ad management, market research and analysis of competitors. The ideal person for this job would also have a technical aptitude. Our products are very technical in nature and are targeted at engineers, rocket scientists, professors, students, technologists and other people in the growing field of robotics and automation. So to be convincing when you market something you will need to understand how it works. Above all else, our new marketing expert will be self-motivated, ready to learn and not afraid to get their hands dirty. This position is not a senior role, there is no marketing team to manage, you will need to do everything yourself, from managing the marketing budget, or filming how to videos, to manually coding meta tags on our site. One candidate will probably not fulfill every item listed above, so it is essential that you be resourceful and able to learn what you need to know to get the job done. You will be working with a close knit team who are all experts in their field, however you will be the marketing expert and will need to contribute to the team as such.
