POSITION: Mechanical AssemblerREPORTS TO: Production Foreman
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will perform a variety of task on the shop floor including Heavy Equipment Assembly
General knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems
Using and operating various hand tools and production equipment
Interpret blueprints and assemble both mechanical and hydraulic components to specifications
Test and inspect components to discover flaws
Prioritize a changing workload
Meet tight deadlines in a semi-repetitive, fast paced environment
Work independently and as a team, self-starter paced environment
Uphold safe work practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in an industrial environment
Forklift Experience is an asset
Experience with hand tools, cutting torches, grinders, paint sprayer.
