This is the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo. If you haven't heard of it before know that it's named after the explorer because it's a camper van. It's nothing new. Mercedes produced the Marco Polo for a long time and then bought camping conversion specialist Westfalia. If Westfalia sounds familiar it's because until Merc bought them they built camper conversions for VW. This camper sits on the Vito van platform. It can be kept inside a regular size garage with no problem. It comes with a super fuel efficient 4 cylinder gas engine with low original kms (no engine replacement or rebuild). It's accident free, quiet, cruises well and there are no rattles or bangs from the kitchen. This summer our family camped in it 7 times and it was the BEST. It's comfortable, stable and very nimble. It drives and camps perfectly. The van gets a lot of attention but it's the inside that counts. You get seating for 4. The front seats swivel to face back and the rears which fold flat to form the downstairs bed. A pop-up roof reveals the upstairs sleeping quarters. Downstairs from right to left, features a sink, propane stove, electric fridge/freezer and healthy amount of built-in wardrobes, drawers and cabinets. The quality of all the fittings and fixtures is top drawer and the drawers and cubbies themselves are well thought out. The table is tucked secretly and cleverly into the side door and there is an outdoor shower out back. There are too many surprise features and delightful details to mention. The pop-up roof is designed so it goes up really easily. The bed upstairs is very comfortable. The kids absolutely love it. You can drive it daily or take it anywhere. The FWD goes almost anywhere and the brand new rubber There are a few pending, non-urgent repairs reflected in the price. The AC isn't blowing very cold anymore. I suppose how often you fill it depends on how much you like AC. I'm fine with the power windows personally. Second, there is a heater which is powered by a gas trickle. This can be repaired easily. We found we didn't need heat as sleeping bags and blankets were sufficient. Here is a good video walkthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8ANaP-KNYY. Not me in the video but the same van
