Food Service Supervisor (Sazon Mexican Cuisine)

Sazon Mexican Cuisine is looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. Job Title: Food Service Supervisor (Permanent) Employer: Sazon Mexican Cuisine Working Location: 2698 W 4th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6K 1P7 Working Hours: 35 hours/ week (Full-time) Wage: $20.00/hour (Overtime will be paid at time and a half after 8 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/wk) Benefit: 4 % vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation Vacancy: 2 Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Prepare staff and the shop prior to customer arrival. • Establish methods to meet work schedules • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service. • Monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. • This position requires training staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. Qualifications: • Completion of secondary school is required. • Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or Several years of experience in food preparation or service are required. • Ability to communicate in English is required.
